Made from high performance leather treated to be water-resistant and stain-resistant

This collection was started in summer of 2008 and meets the European commission's strict regulations. The whole collection is made of 100% ecological tanned leather.
The leather comes from Tärnsjö, a Swedish tannery which uses skins from Swedish animals. The leather is only tanned with natural products and is totally free from chrome and other chemicals. A traditional method is used which takes a little more time but creates leather with life and lustre, that only gets better with time.
Our grandfathers were proud purveyors to the Royal Swedish Court already half a century ago. We still beleive that each child is a prince or a princess, which is the simple philosophy behind our Kavat Royal Collection.

In autumn 2008, Kavat has developed a whole new series of waterproof products made of durable and sturdy materials. The shoes are fitted with a waterproof and breathable membrane. They have welded seams and a good sole in genuine rubber with a core of EVA, shock-absorbing and a removable insole.
In other words, a whole new Kavat generation with the same high quality standards as Kavat has had since its inception in 1945.
